Rain farm is the ribbed panel by Silex engineered to answer to special corrosion needs and destined for coverings in the zootechnical sector.
Rain Farm by Silex is a weight-bearing metallic panel engineered to answer to zootechnical sector needs for the realization of roofs with a minimum slope of 7%
Rain Farm has been engineered and realized to resist organic acidic substances present in the atmosphere of zootechnical livestocks, thanks to the use of an inner fibre-glass support. The wide range of polyurethane thicknesses, PUR or PIR , ensures the achievement of important insulating results , with very low certified values of thermal transmittance.
Rain Farm panel can also be realized with two metal sheets, if there are specific weight-bearing needs (see Rain Panel technical table). In this case the inner side of the panel is realized in pre-coated metal sheet (galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminium) with an anti-bacterial plastic film with high endurance.
These ultimate generation plastic film increase their own features in presence of environmental conditions which favour the origin of bacteria, fungus and algaes, and allow to keep protection and hygiene in those spaces where normal cleanliness cannot be guaranteed.
Its efficacy is shown against the following types of bacteria: Escherichia Coli (A), Klebisella pneumoniae (B), Staphylococcus aureus(C), Salmonella typhimurium (D), Listeria monocytogenes (E), Legionella pneumophila.
Supports with anti-bacterial plastic film have been tested and certified according with norms ISO 22196:2077 , ASTM E2180-07 , JES Z 2801 and are certified for food contact according with norm 2002/72/CE and its following updates. Furthermore these supports have achieved a fire certification according with the European norm for construction EN 13501-1.
